Big Blinds Remaining - Poker Statistics.
This is a discussion on Big Blind twice in a row??? within the online poker forums, in the General Poker section; Hey all As Im not 100% sure on what the rule is on this i thought i had best ask.
For some time, online poker players have wanted their stacks to be easily displayed as big blinds next to their cards rather than as a confusingly large number.
There’s a very simple reason why aggressive poker is more successful poker: The player who calls can only win by having the best hand. The player who bets can win by having the best hand or by making his opponents fold. By no means does inviting you to play aggressively mean you should spew your chips like there’s no tomorrow.
Most Hold'em (short for Texas Hold'em) poker games require players to post blinds (initial bets) before any cards are dealt in order to stimulate the betting (i.e., so that there will be money to win). Usually there are two blinds -- a small blind and a big blind -- in each playing round.
A big blind is a mandatory bet used in poker variations that typically don't have antes, such as Texas Hold 'Em. It is paid by the player two seats to the left of the dealer or the dealer button. The player one seat to the left of the button pays a small blind that is usually half the big blind's size.
How to Win Big from Poker Freerolls.. don’t play too many hands, don’t bluff too much and make sure you get maximum value when you hit a big hand.. Also look to steal the blinds a lot more, especially from those players you’ve noted are playing cautiously in an attempt to move up the pay ladder.
To have a good understanding of further discussion you need to realize that you should be defending extremely wide from the big blind preflop, even if you are not playing against someone with very high VPIP poker stat. A lot of the time your opponent will be just min-raising or and usually, you will have antes in the game as well.
